About the Author

Monique Samuels was diagnosed with primary lymphedema at age 12. Living with this chronic illness has been a serious challenge for her and took its toll on her confidence and physical wellbeing. Since being diagnosed, Monique uses her social media platform to share her journey to reclaim her health and happiness while living with lymphedema. An advocate for lymphedema awareness, she continues to motivate others living with this disease and other chronic illnesses.
