The Struggles & Successes of Women with ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is often underdiagnosed and overlooked in women. Left untreated, women may end up struggling to take control of their daily lives whilst constantly battling anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.

ADHD/ADD is a neurobehavioral condition, but Brittanie Hazard-Bigby prefers to call it a “neuro superpower“. Many women, like herself, have experienced judgment for not being to cope with the many symptoms associated with this condition. The inability to focus, anxiety, disorganization, and insecurity are often mislabeled as paranoia, carelessness, and laziness. Click the video below to listen to her story.
